AV Professionals Get a Glimpse Into Cutting-Edge Technology at UNLV
Audiovisual professionals from across the world will visit UNLV for an exclusive tour of the Dolby Atmos theater in the Flora Dungan Humanities building and RebelFlex classrooms for InfoComm 2022, a technology conference for the audiovisual (AV) industry.
Attendees will explore the 254-seat theater and classroom that features a Dolby Atmos immersive audio experience and 4K Barco cinema laser projection system. The tour also showcases RebelFlex, the university’s solution to hybrid learning.
The UNLV tour will be led by Frank Alaimo, senior AV systems specialist for the office of information technology, whose classroom technology services team was integral in both projects. It is part of InfoComm’s integrated experience series that includes tours of other leading-edge AV installations in Las Vegas.
The UNLV tours will be held at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on June 7. Each will last about three hours. InfoComm 2022 is a week-long event that runs from June 4-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
InfoComm is produced by the Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association (AVIXA). It currently ranks as the 28th largest trade show in the United States by Trade Show Executive.
