Free Azure Dev Tools Subscription Gives Students and Faculty Access to Various Microsoft Software

All UNLV students and faculty can now use professional software developer tools through Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching at no cost. Software available for academic use includes Microsoft Project, Visio, and Visual Studio.

With the free subscription, students and faculty learn, teach, and experiment with the latest Microsoft technology. Since Azure features industry-standard software, students can also get familiar with real-world tools used by industry professionals to get a head start on their careers.

Everything they need, including training and learning materials, is stored in one location, making access easy for everyone. To access Azure, students and faculty must have a Microsoft Office 365 account using their Rebelmail or UNLVMail email.

For more information, or to set up your account, visit Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching site or contact the IT Help Desk.
