ACE accounts are created automatically after all contracts and paperwork are completed. Faculty and staff will receive an email with their ACE credentials to their personal email account. They must activate their ACE account within seven days of receiving the email.
ACE accounts are created for students upon admission to UNLV. Students will receive an email with their ACE credentials to their personal email account. They must activate their ACE account within seven days of receiving the email. Students can use their ACE account to access campus resources once they are enrolled in a course.
Anyone who needs to change their ACE password should follow the instructions below. Passwords must meet the standards established by the UNLV password policy.
Click the Need help signing in? link, then clickForgot password? link
Enter your ACE username or university email, then clickReset via SMS or Reset via Email.
If you click Reset via SMS, check your mobile device for the verification code. Add the code in the Enter Code field and clickVerify.
If you click Reset via Email, you will receive an email with a link to set a new password. Click the Reset Password button in the email.
Answer your security question, then clickReset Password.
Type in your new password in the New password and Repeat password fields. Passwords must meet the standards established by the UNLV password policy.
ClickReset Password to receive an email confirmation that your password was successfully changed.
Security Question Setup
When you sign into your account using the new ACE login page, you may be asked to add a security question to your profile. You only have to set the security question up once for you to be able to reset your ACE password on your own if you forget it or lock your account.
Go toace.unlv.edu and login with your ACE username and password.
Select a question from the dropdown menu and fill in the answer below.
Click the Create My Account button to set up your security question.
