Access to ArcGIS Desktop Ends in July, Upgrade to ArcGIS Pro for Free Now

ESRI has announced that ArcGIS Desktop will no longer be available for educational institutions once our licensing expires in July.

Instead, ArcGIS Online, a web-based app, is available to students, faculty, and staff for free and includes access to download the ArcGIS Pro desktop app.

Current ArcGIS Desktop users can upgrade to ArcGIS Pro for free by contacting the IT Help Desk.

To request a free upgrade or a new license, users should submit a software service request.
