As we reach the last stretch of the semester, discover what technology tools and resources are available to students to help you succeed in your final exams.
During Study Week
- Stop by a computer lab to access software, printing materials, and study spots. Check lab hours to see which labs are open throughout the week.
- Use RebelApps to access software on any device away from campus. View the software directory to see discounted software available to students.
- Schedule an appointment with the Writing Center, an academic advisor, and other academic support departments on the Rebel Success Hub.
- Respondus Lockdown Browser is now available on Chromebooks, along with other devices, for exams that require it. Use Okta Verify for easy verification and check for any Respondus updates before your exams.
During Finals Week
- Sync your WebCampus (Canvas) calendar to your Google Calendar so you don’t miss important assignments due during the week.
- Create, upload, and store your files in your RebelMail Google Drive to easily locate later. Remember to transfer your data out of your drive if you are graduating this semester.
- Grab something to eat with Grubhub using RebelCash. Students get free delivery and other perks for adding UNLV to their Grubhub account.
- Get help with technology any time of day by browsing step-by-step guides on the UNLV Knowledge Base.
After Finals Week
- Return any devices that you’ve borrowed from the Technology Loan Program by May 23.
- Log into MyUNLV to see final course grades and any tasks required for next semester.
- If you have a LastPass Premium account through UNLV, remember that your account will change to a LastPass Free account after July 31. With a free account, you can still access your passwords, but will lose paid features. If you prefer, you can renew LastPass Premium yourself or pick another password manager.
- Prepare for any international trips by setting up your Okta Verify multifactor authentication before you go. Okta Verify works with or without a cellular or WiFi connection, so you can still access any UNLV accounts you need while on your trip.
Students who experience any issues with campus technology or have questions should contact the IT Help Desk.
