There’s no denying that technology is an essential part of our workplace. Since we use it daily for our jobs, what if there was a not-so-secret code to using technology to make your office life easier?

Administrative faculty can learn new ways to use technology effectively to save themselves time during the Administrative Faculty Development Day on May 22 in the Student Union Ballroom. Whether you work on campus or remotely, UNLV Information Technology professionals are offering tips to make processes and everyday tasks quicker and smoother using technology.

Attendees who’d like to participate in person can attend the session. A virtual session is also being offered for those who’d like to tune in virtually on Zoom. Both sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes in the ballroom.

As part of Administrative Faculty Development Day, people can also tour different vendors displaying the latest technology during a breakout session. They’ll be able to test new technologies from Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Spectrum Furniture and ask questions about the latest equipment.

This is one of many activities UNLV Information Technology is getting involved in to support professional development across campus and sharing knowledge to those who want to learn how they can use technology to positively transform their work experience.

Administrative Faculty Development Day is hosted by the Administrative Faculty Committee. For more information, check your UNLVMail for updates from the committee or visit their website.
