Mac Users: Upgrade to MacOS Sonoma Now Available

MacOS Sonoma for Mac is now available for UNLV-managed computers. Sonoma brings enhanced features, security improvements, and overall system optimizations.

To upgrade to macOS Sonoma:

1. Click on the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen. 
2. Select System Preferences. 
3. Click on Software Update. 
4. If macOS Sonoma is available, click Upgrade Now to begin the installation process.

Software Patch for SPSS Users

For users who rely on SPSS, please note that the current version of SPSS is not compatible with MacOS Sonoma, however, a software patch is available. Please see the knowledge base article SPSS 29 Fix Patch 2 for Mac Installation Guide to learn more.
