New Undergraduate Students Move to Okta Verify for Secure MFA Experience

New undergraduate students will need to use Okta Verify to log into campus applications with their ACE account starting Aug. 22. To avoid delays in accessing services, switch to Okta Verify now with these easy enrollment steps.

With Okta Verify’s enhanced security features and one-tap push notifications, the multifactor authentication (MFA) experience is faster and more secure. The move comes as SMS text messaging is no longer available as an MFA option due to security concerns. Learn Okta Verify is more secure and reliable than SMS text messaging.

If Okta Verify isn’t the best option, new undergraduate students should contact the IT Help Desk for another secure MFA option. For more information and a schedule for when other students and academic faculty need to switch to Okta Verify, visit the ACE Account Increased MFA Security Initiative page.
