Trellix Encryption will soon be installed on campus Mac computers

Listen to this announcement

A new encryption application, Trellix, will be deployed to university-managed Mac computers beginning on May 12. The installation may take a few days to process to all applicable computers.

Once the new agent is installed, Mac users will notice a new icon in the menu bar and a notification that a new background item from "FireEye Security Holdings US LLC" has been added.

If you have any questions or concerns about the new encryption agent, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we continue to improve the security of our campus systems.
