- Move or installation scheduled by Operations Center
- Power off server, notify customers about outage, service change
- UNLV IT staff will unrack and rerack your server
- Your IP address will change if UNLV IT colocates your server
Additional Services Provided
The services included with the data center are:
- Server cabinet space based on available capacity
- Racking and unracking your equipment
- Notification of planned and unplanned changes that affect your equipment or degrade the data center service
- Physical access for your services’ representatives to equipment within a reasonable time frame on a 24/7 basis
- IP addressing and DNS/DHCP services for your equipment
- Environmental monitoring and related reports
The Operations Center will not install software on your equipment. At your request, it will complete additions, changes, or removals to DNS/IP reservations and ACL/Firewall rules. Customers are notified with security and other software recommendations. Installation and use is voluntary.
