Get Technology Support
Get help connecting to campus WiFi, accessing MyUNLV and WebCampus, and using other campus technology.
Reconnecting to UNLV
Reset the password to your ACE account if you forgot it. Update multifactor authentication to Okta Verify to easily log into Workday, VPN, and other systems.
Renew access or set up eduroam on a new device for 12 months to automatically connect to the fast, secure campus WiFi network. You will need your ACE account to start the process.
You can now log into MyUNLV with your ACE account. Be sure to bring your device you set up to get a MFA notification to complete the login process.
Buy a computer to suit your needs though the Personal Computer Purchasing Program. Get computer discounts, free shipping, or other incentives when you buy through the university’s program.
Instructional Technology
Copy content from one course to another and publish the course in WebCampus, using your ACE account to log in. Get help to redesign content, view new WebCampus features, and review the new semester checklist.
Copy previously recorded Panopto videos into your upcoming course in WebCampus. Edit and remove identifiable student information and add captions to the videos before moving them. View recent Panopto updates.
Use Zoom to host online or hybrid courses while in a classroom or remotely. Offer virtual office hours for students too. Visit the UNLV Zoom site to log into the tool with your ACE account.
Visit your classroom to practice using the touch panel, lecture capture, or Zoom. Bring your device you set up to get a MFA notification to log into the classroom computer and systems.
Add Qualtrics surveys into your course in WebCampus to gauge student engagement. Use the tool to collect data for research projects and collaborate with colleagues at other institutions.

Complete annual cybersecurity awareness training and opt to take additional training to learn more tips to protect yourself and UNLV against phishing scams and other cyber threats.
Take accessibility training to develop more accessible materials. Check if content is accessible using Ally in WebCampus. Contact the Disability Resource Center for assistive technologies.
Let students know about the technology loan program that allows them to borrow a laptop for a semester.
Get 24/7 support without needing to contact the IT Help Desk using tools such as our ACE self password reset tool, knowledge base articles, and chatbot Scarlet.

Add Qualtrics surveys into your course in WebCampus to gauge student engagement. Use the tool to collect data for research projects and collaborate with colleagues at other institutions.
UNLV Folio is a secure database for you to document your research, publications, awards for vitae, tenure promotions, grant biosketches, and accreditation reviews.
Design your own faculty site to post course information, curriculum vitae, research, grants, and related material, logging in with your ACE account to set up the site.
Supplement course materials with IT research and video tutorials from Academic Impressions, Educause, Gartner, or LinkedIn Learning. Log into these memberships with your ACE account.
