Cabinet Annual Technology Review
Report to President’s Cabinet on alignment of IT and university priorities:
- Review summarized input from campus governance groups on strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for impactful digital transformation
- Review progress on digital transformation from prior year and mid-year report
- Authorize digital transformation priorities roadmap

- Develop reports to facilitate Cabinet Technology Summits and transparence for campus constituents
Led by the Vice President for Digital Transformation and Chief Information Officer (VPDT/CIO), university distributed IT staff focus on the cabinet’s biannual priorities.

Led by the Chief Information Security Officer, the Cyber Security Team (CST) includes distributed and central IT specialists whose primary responsibilities are to:
- Create and foster a campus-wide approach to information technology security
- Recommend policies, procedures, and technical measures to support the development and maintenance of a secure information technology environment
- Promote awareness on IT security issues, compliance changes, threat mitigation, and individual responsibility for helping ensure a safe campus IT environment
Campus Governance Groups
Leveraging the existing campus governance structure, IT governance representatives engage groups at their established meetings to gather feedback and share progress updates. Regular interactions boost collaboration and inspire broader campus input. Focused priorities and biannual reporting of accomplishments empowers representatives to oversee accountability for implementing IT strategy.
