New Webpage Helps Returning Academic Faculty Prepare for a New Semester Using Technology

Academic faculty coming back can now easily access technology resources they need in one location, helping them get ready for the new semester with a breeze.

The returning academic faculty site features information and tips to help instructors set up their courses using technology, including how to host classes and office hours in Zoom and use tools to check if content is accessible.

Student support resources are also available on the site for academic faculty to help students who may need to borrow a laptop for the semester or find discounted home internet service to support their academics.

Faculty who need help with campus technology can get support by contacting the IT Help Desk. They can also drop into the Faculty Center to get expert help with Zoom, WebCampus, and Panopto from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 21 or 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 24 in BEH 235.

More information is available on the returning academic faculty page on the UNLV IT site.
