The Provost’s Office centralized AI webpage provides resources for instructors, students, researchers, and administrators and staff.

The Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost have launched a year-long pilot program designed to equip UNLV faculty and staff with the skills to harness generative AI in various aspects of their work.

Faculty Senate AI Task Force Work

Formed in January 2024 by the Faculty Senate, the AI Task Force was given 5 key objectives. This is a summary of that work.

  • Completed 5 charges from the Faculty Senate Chair

  • Created recommended faculty guidance including data privacy considerations, AI content detection tools, AI-supported grading/assessment tools, third-party AI bots, developing AI-Use guidelines, for coursework, sample syllabus language for AI use
