Panopto For Faculty
Panopto allows faculty to create a library of recorded lectures, enabling them to offer content for students who may have missed a class or need to review complex material.
After setting up Panopto, there are plenty of ways to use it to enhance your instruction and your students’ experiences. You can:
- Record live lectures in a lecture capture room or a RebelFlex room
- Request your class to be automatically recorded or transfer a recorded session to WebCampus
- Set up Zoom recordings to automatically upload in Panopto for streamlined storage
- Move videos to a different course at the end of a semester
- Learn more about how long Panopto videos are stored.
- Edit and caption videos you created in Panopto
- Insert quizzes in Panopto videos to test and grade students as they watch
- Customize settings and permissions for your Panopto recordings and folders
- View statistics of your videos and folders
