New Faculty Get Technology Help from Experts at August 16 Resource Fair
Announcement Body
UNLV is making it easier for new academic and administrative faculty to get help with campus technology. UNLV Information Technology (IT) is participating in the resource fair as part of this year’s new faculty orientation.
From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 16, new faculty can visit the UNLV IT table in the Student Union to get expert help from the IT Help Desk, WebCampus, and eLearning teams with:
- WebCampus (Canvas) course content and assignment questions
- Accessing MyUNLV
- Setting up Okta Verify for multifactor authentication
- Connecting devices to the eduroam WiFi network
- Getting help with Zoom, Panopto, Ally, and other IT questions
New faculty who need to get their campus ID card are encouraged to visit the RebelCard office before the semester starts. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday or 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
Faculty unable to attend the resource fair can get technology support by contacting the IT Help Desk. For more information about campus IT resources, visit the new academic faculty and new administrative faculty webpages on the UNLV IT site.
