Google Workspace Updates
You can now add image watermarks directly into Google Docs. This is useful for adding the UNLV logo or to indicate a document's state (e.g., confidential, draft, etc.).
This watermark image will repeat behind the text on every page of your document and is preserved when importing or exporting from Microsoft Word.
Availability
The feature will begin rolling out to accounts today, but may take up to 15 days to reach all accounts. Please visit the Google Workspace Learning Center to learn more about adding image watermarks.
Google has updated the presenter toolbar in Google Slides to make it less intrusive and provide you more flexible controls.
When presenting, you will now see the following options:
- Selecting the previous or next slide
- Select any slide from the picker
- The three-dot overflow menu, which will open options for opening speaker notes, auto play, caption preferences, and more.
Also, the presenter toolbar has been reduced down to only the controls you need the most and the size of the trigger zone has been improved to minimize distractions or obstruction of your contents.

Trash has been added to Google Contacts, making it easier for you to recover contacts that you have accidentally deleted. Now, when you delete a contact on any device - web, Android, and iOS - it will go into Trash, where it will stay for 30 days before being permanently deleted. In that time, you can view, restore, or permanently delete the contact.
Note: Trash can only be viewed and managed on the web.
