InCommon Security Certificate Upgrade Scheduled Jan. 7

On January 7, we will complete a routine update of a security certificate used by InCommon Federation websites and resources that verifies UNLV users when they login.

While the change should be seamless for most users, there is a possibility that some InCommon resources have an outdated configuration, which may cause an error when customers try to log in.

If you or your customers experience any issues logging in to an InCommon resource with your ACE account after January 7, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.

About InCommon

UNLV is a member of InCommon, a service that allows education and research users to connect to over five thousand resources with their host university login credentials, including your UNLV ACE account.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we make this necessary update for secure access to InCommon’s wealth of resources.
